    Coal production to be focus on China talkfest

    China is to host the coal mining industry at a special forum in Beijing in Ocotber.
    China is the largest coal producer with coal output occupying 37% of the total in the world.

    Coal is a major energy source in China, accounting for 76% and 69% of total primary energy output and consumption respectively. Coal will continue to be the primary energy source in the foreseeable future in China. The strategic position of coal is still very important along with the transformation of economic growth mode and expansion of coal usage in the coal industry.

    In order to speed up science and technology innovation of coal, build large-scale coal bases, cultivate large coal enterprise groups, integrate and reconstruct small and medium coal mines, increase strength for scientific and technological research, set up technology innovation system with enterprise as mainstay, boost construction of safe and high-efficiency coal mines, vigorously promote mechanization in small and medium coal mines, and promote international exchange and cooperation in the coal mechanical industry, the National Energy Administration will a forum on coal in Beijing in October.

    National Energy Administration, will host the event, and will invite exhibitors from lenterprises, such as Shenhua Group, China Coal, China Coal Technology and Engineering Group Corp, and other major domestic coal production enterprises, as well as large-scale domestic and international coal enterprises, manufacturers of coal mining equipment and relative research institutes in the coal field.

    Some well-known domestic and overseas enterprises have already registered to attend, including China Coal Technology and Engineering Group Corp, Sandvik Mining and Construction (China) Co., Ltd., Wadam Industries Pty Ltd, Australia, ATB Morley Ltd., the Teddy's, Shandong Borun Process Industrial Technology Co., Ltd, Tangshan Kaicheng Electric Control Equipment Group Co., Ltd. and Tangshan Shenzhou Machinery Co., Ltd.
